Cryogenic Gate Valve

Cryogenic valves is designed in two different bonnet type. One is bolted bonnet, which the valve body and the bonnet are connected with a bolt nut, wound gasket (316 clamp flexible graphite manufacturing). Metal ring connections are also available upon special requirements. Another type is welded bonnet, which the valve body and the bonnet is threaded connected.

  1. The fluid resistance is small, and the sealing surface is less affected by the brushing and erosion of the medium.
  2. Easy to open and close.
  3. The flow direction of the medium is not limited, no disturbance and no pressure reduction.
  4. Simple shape, short structure length, good manufacturing process, wide range of application.
  5. It is easy to cause erosion and abrasion between the sealing surfaces, and maintenance is more difficult.
  6. The appearance size is large, and a certain space is required for opening. Take long time to open and close.
  7. The structure is more complicated.
